Abstract:

Although significant progress has been in women’s employment worldwide, it is a fact that women’s employees face many obstacles in achieving their career goals and rise to a managerial position. Women, which make up almost 50% of the world’s population, remain behind men in their work life. Glass roof barriers come at the beginning of the important barriers to overcome gender inequality, which is an important structural stone in sustainable development. Those who wish to organizational success must maintain the commitment of their employees. This will only be possible by identifying and eliminating the existing obstacles. With this thought, the health sector, which is an important service hand in which women’s employment is focused, has been chosen; the aim of the health department is to reveal the impact of women working in the district of Kırıkkale on the glass roof perceptions and organizational commitments. The study aimed at reaching all women working in the institution, 61 women employed face-to-face survey was implemented. The variables with the SPSS 22 package program have been subjected to reliability analysis, identifying statistics, t-test, anova analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis. The research has found that healthcare workers have an impact on the perception of the glass roof and their organizational commitments.
