Clear cell sarcoma which is also known as malignant melanoma of the soft tissues, is a rare tumorwhich develops in tendons and ligaments. It derives from neural crest cells. In general, it is seen intendons and aponeuroses that unite in the lower extremity in young adults. In early phase it could beindistinguishable from benign lesions clinically and radiologically. The prognosis is poor and thesurvive is low. In this paper, a 10-year-old boy who has clear cell sarcoma in his medial collateralligament is presented. The patient admitted to our clinic with complaints of a pain in knee for a yearand a mass growing gradually for the last three months; the magnetic resonance imaging revealed awell-defined mass surrounding the medial collateral ligament in his right knee. Clear cell sarcoma wasfound pathologically; accompanying extensive resection of the tumor, with partial resection of thefemur and medial tibial condyle was applied. Despite the chemotherapy and adjuvant radiotherapy,he developed regional lymph nodes, bone, lung and gluteal muscles metastases seven months later, and he died.
