Abstract:

This research used a qualitative research technique to reveal various situations related to the implementation and supervision process carried out by school principals within the scope of their supervision duties during the distance education period. The research was designed according to the phenomenology pattern. Created according to the purposive sampling method. The research study group consists of 12 school principals working in Yeniçağa and Dörtdivan districts of Bolu province in the 2020-2021 academic year. The obtained data were analyzed by descriptive analysis and content analysis methods. According to the research findings, online course supervision. It was conducted to control students' class participation and evaluate teacher performance. Supervision of extracurricular activities was generally done on paper. The supervision carried out during the distance education period may have negative effects on teachers. However, it has been stated that these effects can be prevented with the right communication and approach. In addition, there are some suggestions regarding the process in the research.
