Abstract:

In the last 10 years, the construction sector has shown rapid development. Increased profits have raised the interest of investors in this sector. Even many companies that operate in the industrial sector have been involved in large projects and partnerships to acquire a share of the cake in the construction sector. In the capitalist system, high profits will result in a long-term, non-refunded damage while appearing as a short-term attractive element. At the beginning of these, the loss of agricultural land and the transformation of green areas into concrete forests can be considered, the destruction of the silhouette of a city like Istanbul. In this study, a company that builds low-cost buildings/villas integrated with nature in different regions of Turkey has been studied. The company, by adding refrigerator to the ankastre series, aims to a competitive advantage in the industry and increase customer demand. But the company does not want to lower the profit rate while doing this, it wants to make a choice that will attract the attention of its target audience. The use of the VIKOR method, which is one of the multi-criteria decision making techniques for the combination of numerous increasing and decreasing criteria, has been considered appropriate. AHP technique has also been used to reduce the subjectivity of the criterion weights. The results were evaluated by the chairman of the board, architects, sales manager, accounting manager and marketing coordinator, and a approximate decision was reached.
