Abstract:

Current research was done to identify the exercise addiction of participants who are active in the fitness halls located within the sports and social life centers during the period of Covid-19 pandemic effect. The data in the study was collected with the Exercise Addiction Scale (EBA) and the data obtained was evaluated in the SPSS 22.0 statistical program. In the data analysis, first and foremost, the conformity of data to the normal distribution standards was verified and the sampling t test and one-way variance analysis tests were used independent of the parametric tests. According to the results of the analysis, the average age of participants (28.2±9.4 years) was identified. In addition, the findings obtained from the answers to the scale subjects indicate that the exercise dependencies of participants differ significantly according to the variable of gender and civic state, while the age and education levels don’t differ significantly according to the variable.
