Abstract:

The aim of this research is to examine the relationship between the tendency of knowledge management in educational organizations and the levels of being a learning organization according to teacher perceptions. Dec. The research was conducted with the participation of 228 teachers working in public vocational high schools in Karabağlar district of Izmir province. In order to collect the data of the research, the Personal Information Form, the Information Management Tendency Scale, which was adapted into Turkish by Durnalı and Limon (2020), and the Learner Organization Scale developed by Çetin and Baydar (2021) were used. The research data were analyzed with SPSS and the following results were reached: Teachers' perceptions of knowledge management tendency and learner organization perceptions are at a high level. There is a statistically significant, positive and high-level Deciency relationship between teachers' perceptions of knowledge management tendency and learner organization perceptions. Teachers' perceptions of information management tendencies do not show statistically significant changes in the variables of gender, professional seniority, branch and educational level of teachers. While teachers' perceptions of the learning organization did not show statistically significant changes in gender, professional seniority and branch variables, it was found that teachers' educational status created statistically significant differences in perceptions of the learning organization, and teachers who graduated with a bachelor's degree had higher perceptions of the learning organization than teachers with a graduate degree.
