Cumhuriyetçi Güven Partisi; 1967-1980 dönemi Türk siyasi hayatının önemli bir parçasını oluĢturmaktadır. CHP içinden çıkıp Güven Partisi olarak kurulmuĢ, daha sonraki dönemlerde değiĢik birleĢmelerle Milli Güven Partisi ve Cumhuriyetçi Güven partilerine dönüĢmüĢtür. Parti hiçbir seçimde % 7 üzerinde oy alamamıĢ buna karĢın siyasi çalkantılar sırasında birleĢmelerle parlamentoda 2. büyük parti konumuna gelebilmiĢtir. Bir küçük grubun partisi olmasına karĢılık hükümetlerde yer almıĢ içerisinden baĢbakan çıkarmıĢtır. Bu makalede esas olarak Cumhuriyetçi Güven Partisi‟nin Türk siyasi yaĢamında oynadığı rol açıklanmaya çalıĢılmıĢtır. Partinin ortaya çıkıĢı, ortaya çıkıĢının nedenleri, o dönemin siyasi ortamı, parti tipolojisi, partinin görüĢleri, partinin örgütlenmesi ve kongreleri, partinin katıldığı seçimler, partinin katıldığı hükümetler ve partinin siyasal yaĢamdan ayrılması süreçleri irdelenmiĢtir.
The Republican Faith Party is an important part of the Turkish political life in the period 1967-1980. The CHP came out and was established as the Trust Party, and in subsequent periods, with mutual unification, returned to the National Trust Party and the Republican Trust Party. The party can not vote more than 7% in any election, and it can be the second major party in parliament with the unification during the political clashes. It is a small group of people who do not have a party in the government. In this article, it is essentially unmistakable to explain the role the Republican Trust Party plays in the Turkish political life. The appearance of the party, the causes of its appearance, the political environment of that period, the type of party, the appearance of the party, the organization and congresses of the party, the elections in which the party participated, the governments in which the party participated and the processes of the party's separation from the political community.
Republican Trust Party constitutes an important part of Turkish political history between years 1967-1980, a thirteen year long period. Emerging out of Republican People‟s as Trust Party. Despite never being able to pass 7% percent of the total votes, as a result of varios political events and coalescances, it become the second greatest party in the parliament. Although it was mainly consisted of minorities, it participated in several governments and had its own prime minister. In this article, basically, the role of Republican Trust Party in Türkish political history was explained. Emergence of the party, reasons of its emergence, political environment of the era, typology of the party, its political standings and its period of leaving politics were scrutinized
