0 to 6 years of age is a period of great importance for children. During this period the education and experience of children affects the other years of life. The positive foundation of preschool education institutions and family are important factors to affect the child'sreadiness. We need to know the children’s capabilities, interests, needs, trends and Environmental opportunities to support the child's Primary School process and to talk about lasting education. Activities of pre-school teachers towards primary school readiness are important for the children to have knowledge about the skills he / she should acquire. The aim of the study is to determine which activities should be applied and what skills to gain by pre-school teachers ' according to student ’sreadiness. The study group consists of 36 teachers working in pre-school education institutions in Şırnak province Silopi district, which is affiliated to the Ministry of nationa leducation in 2018-2019 academic year. The data were collected in a interview form created by the researchers. The data were analyzed with descriptive analysis technique and content analysis technique. As a result, it was determined that pre-school teachers were aware of the importance of readiness. İn addition, Teachers ' activities in primary school mostly aimed at academicsuccesssuggests that teachers are not equipped with the content of readiness.
