Ö Z E T İstanbul Divanyolu’nda Sultan II. Mahmud Türbesi’nin Haziresi, Osmanlı döneminin Ampir Üslubunu yansıtan en zengin mezar taşı örneklerine sahiptir. Bu çalışmada 1860-1987 yılları arasına tarihlenen haziredeki onbeş kadın mezar taşı, kronolojik olarak sıralanmış, kataloglar halinde belgelenmiş ve dönemin üslup anlayışı içerisinde değerlendirilmiştir. Mezar taşları, dikdörtgen ve silindirik olmak üzere iki ana tipe ayrılmaktadır. İncelenen kadın mezar taşlarından yakın tarihli olanlar bezemesiz, diğerlerinin ise ağırlıklı olarak bitkisel, yanı sıra soyut, nesneli ve geometrik motifler ile bezendiği görülmektedir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Ampirik üslup, Sultan II.Mahmud, geometrik motif, mezartaşı AB S T R AC T The Graveyard of the Tomb of Sultan Mahmud II, as located in Divanyolu, İstanbul, have rich samples of grave stones that reflect the Empirical Style of the Ottoman Era. In this study, 15 grave stones in the graveyard, belonging to women and dated between 1860 and 1987, are chronologically arranged, documented as catalogues and evaluated taking the style of the related periods into consideration. These gravestones are divided into two main types as rectangular and cylindrical. It is observed that the gravestones belonging to recent years are without ornament and that the rest of them are ornamented with the motifs of plants as well as abstract, figured and geometric motifs.
