Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of learning environment designed for creative thinking method on student academic achievement and the retention of the success. Research was conducted with pre-post test and the control group of the actual experimental design. Research was held on the Science and Technology course and in the unit of „‟ watch the world of living things to know‟‟ in 2009 - 2010 academic year - in Primary school of the Notaries Union in Ankara. The study group consists of 20 students of the 4.grade. In this assignment the students‟ test and control group were repaired according to the rule in which experimental and control group of ten students were chosen randomly. Science and technology achievement test was used to collect the research data.
