Abstract:

Educating skilled people is the job of skilled people. Teacher candidates' professional practices hold a very important place for their teaching skills. The purpose of the research is to reveal the effectiveness of remote Internet-based teaching practices. The research includes evaluating the teaching practices that candidates conduct on a remote internet basis. The research work group consists of 45 final class teachers candidates studying in the classroom education department in the 2019-20 academic year. During the study, distance teaching practices were studied deeply-focused, and quality research patterns were used to study the situation. The data collection tool is a semi-configured conversation form consisting of open end questions developed by the researcher. According to the research results, candidates see the practice teacher and the faculty as the main determiner of teaching practices. The areas where they experience the most trouble during remote teaching practices are technical difficulties and digital literacy. The applicants believe that teaching practices should be replaced by face-to-face and micro-learning. According to the research results, it is recommended that candidates acquire internet-based (distance) teaching skills and the missing teaching practical skills be repaired by school and faculty cooperation.
