Abstract:

The ancient Turkish culture, which we have an idea about in the testimony of written documents, in addition to the religious objects it hosts in it, also shows an advanced character with the products of non-religious life. The work was created in this regard to show the appearance that the meaningful word "sweet, wine", which is one of the important products of the non-religious life of both the pre-Islam and the Islamic period of the Turkish culture, has. In ancient Turkish culture, the "alcohol" category includes bor, begni, etc. The expression of swing, which is seen equivocally with the words, is first witnessed in the testimony of written texts in the Orhon Turkish period with the meaning of "sweet" while in the following periods, especially in the late period, it is also seen with the characteristic of being a product traded in the Uighur economic texts. In the Islamic period, the word "sweet" in addition to the meaning of "wine" is seen with various phonetic changes with expressions such as "sweet", "sweet", "sweet".
