Covid-19 salgını, sosyal ve ekonomik alanlarda pek çok farklı etkinin ortaya çıktığı bir süreç olmuştur. Covid-19 salgını nedeniyle oluşan arz şoku, talep şokuna yol açarak ekonomilerdeki yapısal sorunların derinleşmesine neden olmuştur. Devletler bu noktada ekonomiyi güçlü tutmak üzere çeşitli teşvik paketlerini uygulamaya koymuştur. Bu çalışmada, salgını kontrol etmek amacıyla kısıtlamaların yoğun olduğu dönemde, Covid-19 salgınının hanehalkının tüketim harcamalarına dolayısıyla talep yapısındaki değişmelere etkisinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla, piyasadaki değişimler gözlemlenerek hazırlanan anketten elde edilen bulgulara göre; Covid-19 salgını tüketim, alışveriş tercihleri ve ödeme yöntemleri konularında etkili olarak, tüketicilerin talep düzeyinde değişikliklere sebep olmuştur. Salgın sürecinde, tüketicilerin virüse yakalanmayacak şekilde alışveriş ve ödeme faaliyetlerini gerçekleştirmeyi hedefledikleri sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
The Covid-19 epidemic has been a process in which many different effects have occurred in social and economic areas. The supply shock caused by the Covid-19 epidemic has led to demand shock and has led to the deepening of structural problems in the economies. States have implemented various incentive packages to keep the economy strong at this point. In this study, in the period when restrictions are intense to control the epidemic, the aim is to determine the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic on changes in the demand structure due to the consumer spending of the households. For this purpose, according to the findings from the survey prepared by observing changes in the market, the Covid-19 epidemic has effectively caused changes in consumer demand levels in terms of consumption, shopping preferences and payment methods. In the infection process, the conclusion has been reached that consumers are aimed to carry out shopping and payment activities in such a way that they do not get caught by the virus.

It was concluded that the consumers aimed to carry out shopping and payment activities in a way that they would not get infected during the pandemic.
