Abstract:

Purpose - correct predictions must be made using appropriate methods for the effective and efficient use of northern resources. There is no compensation for the lack of resources in health. The study has estimated how much it will be consumed for future periods using quantitative predictive methods in the use of chirurgical gas gland consumption at the University of Gazi intensive care unit. Method - The research has used the methods of Holt-Winters forecast, moving average, upper correction, from the methods of demand forecast. The average absolute error percentage (MAPE) and the average absolute error percentage (MAD) are used to measure the accuracy of the forecast results. Results - The result of the methods comparison found the lowest error rate in the moving average method. Debate - Because the costs of medical materials in the hospital expenses are too high at the right time, the proper amount of material can be estimated to increase the hospital profitability, and waste can be prevented.
