Bu çalışmanın amacı ilköğretim ikinci kademedeki öğrencilerin seviye belirleme sınavındaki başarısına etki eden unsurları belirlemektir. Araştırma 2011-2012 eğitim-öğretim yılı güz döneminde Artvin ilindeki ilköğretim okullarında öğrenim gören 991 öğrenciyle yürütülmüştür. Tarama araştırma yönteminin kullanıldığı bu araştırmada veriler 40 maddeden oluşturulan bir anketle toplanmıştır. Öğrencilerin başarılarına ailenin, öğretmenin ve eğitim olanakların etkisini yüksek düzeyde olduğu belirlenmiştir. Sınıf düzeyi, anne ve baba eğitim durumu ve aylık gelir ile öğrencinin başarısı arasında anlamlı farklılık olmasına p0.05 .
The aim of study is to investigate factor affecting of secondary school students’ achievement on high school entrance exam SBS respect to the different variables. The study was carried out at fall semester of 2012 with 991 students educating primary schools in Artvin. In this study survey method was used and data gathered with questionnaire consists of 40 items. As a result of study, it was determinate that effects of family, educational facilities, teachers and personal characters on students’ achievement are at high level. There is no different between gender and students achievement p>0.05 , although there are different between grade level, family incomes, graduation types of mother and father and students achievement p
