When I went to London for the first time, there was neither a friend I knew nor a friend I had. John Carswell (1931-2022), my old friend, I don’t remember where and how I met, made friends with me very warmly, and with time his wife Peggy accompanied us with this friendship. They invited me to eat at home. The houses were as hot as they were. A large elephant, who was stunned by the door, welcomed you. When I went, they threw the jacket that I took out of me on the elephant. The elephant was in the vestiger. While John and Peggy were in Beirut (1956-1976), they decided to throw this branch while moving to a university. When John heard this, the file came out. When they moved from Beirut to London, they didn’t leave their friends, and they moved their filials to London with them.
