In this study, flux and torque control of 3-phase asynchronous motor fed by a two level voltage source inverter by using Direct Torque Control (DTC) technique is simulated. Hysteresis controller was used to decouple control of flux and torque. Switching table for selection of suitable voltage vectors at inverter output and hysteresis controller structures are detailed. The control system has been modeled in Matlab/Simulink and simulation results have been obtained for different speed and load conditions. From the simulation results it has been demonstrated that flux and torque is controllable within reference hysteresis bands, a high dynamic performance in steady state and transient operating conditions are obtained from the asynchronous motor and motor currents and stator fluxes are sinusoidal.
