Türkiye yükseköğretim sisteminin lisans düzeyinde yer alan güzel sanatlar fakültelerinin yaklaşık yüz yıllık bir geçmişi bulunmaktadır. Bu süre içinde çeşitli ekollerle şekillendikleri görülmektedir. 2000 yılından sonra Bologna süreci başlamış ve bu fakültelerde çeşitli yapılanmalar gerçekleşmiştir. Seçmeli ders sistemi öğrencilerin bilişsel, sosyal ve duygusal yönden tüm kapasitelerini kendi yetenekleri ve ilgileri doğrultusunda geliştirmelerini amaçlamaktadır. Bu noktada mevcut seçmeli ders sistemin durumunu incelemek ve olası eksiklikleri belirlemek önemli görülmüştür. Bu araştırmanın amacı güzel sanatlar fakültesi öğrencilerinin seçmeli derslere ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemektir. Bu amaçla öğrencilere anket uygulanmış ve seçmeli derslere ilişkin görüşleri sorulmuştur. Araştırma verileri Karabük Üniversitesi Fethi Toker Güzel Sanatlar ve Tasarım Fakültesinde öğrenim gören öğrencilerden toplanmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin istatistiksel analizi sonucu seçmeli derslerin sayılarında ve içeriklerinde eksiklikler tespit edilmiş ve mevcut sistemin iyileştirilmesi için olası öneriler ortaya konmuştur.

Student Opinions on Selective Courses at the Faculty of Fine Arts

Turkish higher education system has a hundred-year history of the faculties of beautiful arts located at the bachelor's level. During this period, they are formed with various edges. After 2000 the Bologna process began and various structures took place in these faculties. The Selective Curriculum System aims to enable students to develop all their capacities in a cognitive, social and emotional perspective in accordance with their abilities and interests. At this point, it was important to study the state of the existing optional curriculum system and to identify possible shortcomings. The purpose of this research is to identify the views of the students of the Faculty of Fine Arts on selectively taught courses. For this purpose, the students were surveyed and asked the opinions on the selectively taught courses. The research data was collected from students who studied at the Fethi Toker University of Karabük Faculty of Fine Arts and Design. As a result of the statistical analysis of the obtained data, deficiencies in the number and content of the elective courses were detected and possible recommendations for the improvement of the existing system were presented.

The elective course system aims to improve students' cognitive, social and emotional capacities in their own capacities and interests. At this point it is important to examine the situation of the existing elective course system and to identify possible deficiencies. The aim of this research is to determine the students’ opinions about elective courses in faculty of fine arts. For this aim, the survey was applied to the students and their opinions about the elective courses were asked. The result of examining the findings, it has been detected deficiencies in the numbers, content and quality of the elective courses and possible suggestions are indicated for the improvement of the existing system.
