Abstract:

The purpose of the research is to evaluate the postgraduate theses written on quiet cities using the bibliometric analysis method. The study examined the theses published in Turkey between 2010-2020. The data were scaned in the data base of the National Thesis Center of the Higher Education Council (YÖKTEZ) with the keywords "cittaslow", "city quiet", "city quiet", "city quiet" and "city quiet" in the scan term section on the date of 10.11.2020-11.11.2020 and found that there were a total of 99 graduate theses in the relevant field. 5 of the 99 undergraduate theses identified were unaccessible due to various restrictions and 94 undergraduate theses were studied. In the framework of the research, the type of the thesis, the institution, the title of the consultant, the branch of anatomy, the university in which the research was studied, the year in which it was published, and the parameters have been evaluated. In the analysis of the data on the subject of the study, the percentage and frequency distribution were studied; bibliometric analyses were used. The study on the criteria for quiet cities and the study of quiet cities has increased in 2019 and has come to the conclusion that the subject has been studied by many different disciplines of science.
