Eski Yunanlılar’ın Dicle ve Fırat nehirleri arasında kalan bölgeyi “Mezopotamya” olarak adlandırması tarihte birçok efsaneye konu olmuştur. Mezopotamya ovalarına bakan bir dağın tepesinde kurulan Mardin şehri, tarihsel süreçte birçok uygarlığa ev sahipliği yapmıştır. Her uygarlık, Mardin’e kendi kültüründen izler bırakmıştır. Birbirinden farklı birçok uygarlığa ev sahipliği yapan Mardin’de bu sayede mûsikîsel açıdan kültürel bir zenginlik oluşmuştur. Ezan sesinin çan sesine karıştığı, insanların birbirlerine hoşgörü ile yaklaştığı Mardin’de mûsikî, kültürlerin etkileşimi sonucu yeni bir hale bürünmüştür. Arap kültürünün baskınlığı, diğer kültürlerde olduğu gibi mûsikîde de öne çıkmıştır. Mûsikîdeki Arap kültürünü Kürt, Türk ve Süryânî kültürleri de izlemektedir. Mûsikî, sesler arasındaki anlam ilişkisidir. Kültür, bir yerde yaşayan toplumun ortaya çıkardığı değerler bütünüdür. Mûsikî kültürü ise toplumların yaşantılarının sesler aracılığıyla çıkan anlamlarıdır. Artuklular döneminden günümüze kadar Mardin’de birçok mûsikî kültürü oluşmuş ve bu kültürün oluşturduğu birçok mûsikîşinas yetişmiştir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Artuklular döneminden günümüze Mardin’deki mûsikî kültürünü ve bu kültürün yetiştirdiği mûsikîşinasları belirtmektir.

Abstract:

The fact that ancient Greeks called the remaining area between the Dicle and the Euphrates as "Mezopotamia" has been the subject of many legends in history. The city of Mardin, founded on the top of a mountain that looks at the ovals of Mesopotamia, has hosted many civilizations in its historical process. Each civilization has left traces to Mardin from its own culture. In Mardin, which hosts many different civilizations, a cultural wealth has been formed from a musical point of view. In Mardin, where the voice of Ezan is mixed with the voice of the bell, where people approach each other with tolerance, the musical, the interaction of cultures has become a new one. The Arab culture has been rebellious, as in other cultures. The Arabic culture in Musiki is followed by Kurdish, Turkish and Syrian cultures. The music is the relationship between the sounds. Culture is the whole of the values that the society that lives in a place reveals. The musical culture is the meaning of the lives of the communities through the voices. From the Artuks period to the present day, many musical cultures have formed in Mardin and many musical cultures that this culture has created have grown up. The purpose of this study is to point out the Musical culture in Mardin from the Artuks period to the present day and the Musicalities that this culture has grown up.

The name of the ancient Greeks as op “Mesopotamia” was the subject of many legends in history. The city of Mardin, founded on the top of a mountain overlooking the Mesopotamian plains, hosted many civilizations in the historical process. Every civilization left its mark on Mardin. Mardin, which hosts many different civilizations, has created a cultural richness in this sense. In Mardin, where the voice of azan interfered with the sound of the bell, and people approached each other with tolerance, music became new as a result of the interaction of cultures. The dominance of Arab culture, as in other cultures, came to the fore as well. Kurdish, Turkish and Syriac cultures follow the Arab culture in Turkish music. Music is the relation of meaning between sounds. Culture is the sum of the values that the living society creates. Musical culture is the meaning of societies experiences through voices. Many Mûsikî cultures have been formed in Mardin until the present day from the Artuks to the present day. The aim of this study Artukids musical culture in today’s era of Mardin and to specify the musicians raised in this culture.
