Abstract:

Ahmed al-Mar'aşî ed-Debbâgî is an Ottoman al-Mahdi who lived in Anatolia at the end of the seventh century and in the first half of the eighteenth century. The Ottoman has made it clear about the issues that the society is aware of the situation in the periods of stop and retreat and that it sees as the source of negative conditions. This is possible to see in the work "er-Risaletü'l-Münciye min Vesveseti'l-Mu'tezile and'l-Cebriyye". He is aware that beliefs and acceptances about fate, as in history, are the source of many problems in his time. In the periods of degradation or collapse of societies, false beliefs about the subject are accepted by people, on the one hand, the fate is a case in which fate beliefs are recognized. Ahmed al-Mar'aşî lived in such a period of the Ottoman and lived in Maraş in 1165/1752. In his work he expressed many opinions and claims about the subject, and made it clear with the signs and the true Sunnah. The Ehl-i Sünnet, Mu'tezile and Gebriyye religions have evaluated the views that the basic Islamic religions have shown about the will, freedom and human facts. Ahmed al-Mar’aşi’s human freedom, preferences and actions are a source of great attention from the point of view of the social spirituality in the context of religion and world view. If Mar'aşi's text-literal and the view that all is limited to it faces Hanefi-Matüridî Turkish religious commentary form, the Re'y family's method is preferred to develop solutions to problems, it is also important to consider.
