Abstract:

In this study, it was aimed at studying the relationship between pre-school children's mental harmony of ego stability. The study also studied the ego solidity and spiritual harmony of children according to some personal variables. The study group consisted of 311 children aged 5-6 years. The data was obtained from the children’s mothers. The data collection used the Child’s Ego Strength Measure and the Hassettepe Spiritual Compatibility Measure. Due to the lack of normal distribution of data, non-parametric tests were used by Spearman Brown Correlation Analysis, Mann Whitney U Test, Kruskal Wallis-H Test. The study found that children’s ego strength levels did not differ according to gender, brotherhood, age and educational status. Children's spiritual harmony did not differ according to gender, brother, birth order, and parent age; the spiritual harmony of the children with mother high school graduates was higher than the spiritual harmony of the children with mother high school graduates and father high school graduates than the children with father high school graduates, pre-graduates and graduates. It has been established that there is no meaningful relationship between the levels of ego strength and the spiritual harmony of children.
