Abstract:

Bu çalışmada Türkiye ve Avrupa Birliği ülkelerinden; Almanya, Avusturya, Birleşik Krallık, Danimarka, Finlandiya, Fransa, Hollanda, İrlanda, İspanya, İsveç, İtalya, Kıbrıs, Malta, Polonya, Portekiz, Yunanistan için 1991-2016 yıllarına ait gayrisafi yurtiçi hasıla, enflasyon, yabancı doğrudan yatırım ve finansal kriz verileri kullanılarak genç ve genel işsizliğin belirleyicileri panel veri analizi ile araştırılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda ekonomik büyüme, enflasyon ve yabancı doğrudan yatırımlar genç işsizlik ve genel işsizlik oranını negatif etkilerken, finansal krizler pozitif etkilemektir. Ayrıca genç işsizlik, genel işsizliğe kıyasla makroekonomik faktörlerin etkilerine daha fazla duyarlıdır.

Abstract:

In this study from the countries of Turkey and the European Union; Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Finland, France, the Netherlands, Ireland, Spain, Sweden, Italy, Cyprus, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Greece for 1991-2016, the non-profit domestic profits, inflation, foreign direct investments and financial crisis data used by panel analysis of the youth and general unemployment determiners. According to the study, economic growth, inflation and foreign direct investments have a negative impact on young unemployment and overall unemployment rates, while financial crises have a positive impact. Young unemployment is also more sensitive to the effects of macroeconomic factors than general unemployment.
