Bu araştırma ilkokul dördüncü sınıf öğrencilerinin Türkçe dersinde etkileşimli defter kullanımına ilişkin deneyimlerini ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Çalışma nitel araştırma deseninde eylem araştırması olarak yürütülmüştür. Araştırma Edirne’de bir devlet okulunda, kolay ulaşılabilir örnekleme yöntemiyle 25 öğrenci ile bireysel ve yüz yüze olarak yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler yoluyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler içerik analizi ile çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları; öğrencilerin Türkçe dersinde etkileşimli defter kullanımından hoşlandıklarını, defterin derse olan ilgiyi arttırdığını, öğrencilerin konuları daha iyi anladıklarını ifade ettiklerini ortaya koymuştur. Araştırmaya katılan 25 öğrencinin tamamı etkileşimli Türkçe defter kullanımına devam edilmesini istemiştir. Defterin bir ürüne dönüşerek öğrenciler tarafından saklanacağı, konu tekrarı yapacakları, çalışmalarından bir hatıra olduğu tespitleri ile defterin bittikten sonra 25 öğrencinin tamamının etkileşimli defter kullanımına değer verdiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Öğrenciler etkileşimli defter kullanırken problem yaşamadıklarını, defterde değiştirmek istedikleri bir çalışma olmadığını dile getirmiş, etkileşimli defter kullanımının kolay olduğunu belirtmişlerdir. Etkileşimli Türkçe defterinde öğrencilerin en çok ilgilerini çeken bölümün ham bilginin ürüne dönüştürüldüğü defterin sol kısmı olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu kısımda konular işlenirken öğrenci ve materyal arasında ortaya çıkan etkileşim somutlaştırılmayı sağladığından yaratıcılığı geliştirmiş, öğrencinin defter kullanıma olumlu bakış açısı kazanmasını sağlamıştır.
This paper aims to reveal the fourth graders’ experiences of interactive notebook practice used in elementary school Turkish classes. The study was carried out as action research in qualitative research design. The research was carried out in a public school in Edirne with 25 students selected with convenience sampling method through individual and face-to-face semi-structured interviews. The data were analysed by content analysis. The results demonstrated that students enjoyed the interactive notebook, the notebook increased interest in Turkish classes, and the students understood the subjects better due to using the interactive notebook. It was concluded that it was an implementation that should continue in Turkish classes, that notebooks were turned into products which could be preserved by students and through which students could revise what they had learnt. The students said that they did not have any problems using interactive notebooks, and that they did not have parts that they wanted to change in their notebooks, and they also found the implementation easy and simple. The part that attracted their interest the most in interactive Turkish notebook implementation was the left-hand side of their notebooks- the place where raw knowledge was turned into a product. The part developed meaning and creativity and helped students to gain positive perspectives because making subjects interactive enabled them to concretize the subjects.
