İzmir ‘de Yeni Kuşak Köy Enstitüleri tarafından önemli bir etkinlik gerçekleştirildi. Bu etkinlik Hasan Ali Yücel’in ölümünün 50. Yılı anısına onun Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı dönemindeki faaliyetlerini, dönemin eğitim ve kültür politikalarının anlaşılmasını ve bugünün eğitim sorunlarına ışık tutulmasını hedeflemişti.
