Abstract:

Nakhchivan dialects and accents are valuable sources in studying the history of the Azerbaijanian language. Archaisms in vocabulary of dialects also support interesting language facts. Any word left the literary language obsoleting for a time can be used in the dialect vocabulary for long years. Preserving these kinds of words our dialects and accents carry them up-to-date. So, studying such words choosing from accents has a great importance. The usage of the lexical units as ağırramax, alçax, an, yaşmax, yazı, qanrılmax, pitik, аppаk, yey, güz, dişаtmаk being chosen from Nakhchivan dialects and accents which are considered to be archaic for our literary language inform on the ancient history of the language.
