Abstract:

Abstract In this research, from an economic perspective, the Cuban population was studied, focusing on its role as a Labor Force based on the impact that the levels of one of the demographic variables, fertility, have on it, since this is the one that most influences Cuba. about the changes that have occurred and will occur in the age structure of the population, since it is inevitable that its continued decline brings with it a decrease in the potential of labor, and therefore a reduction in the possibilities of replacement or its availability. Closely related to the above and derived from an already present reduction in fertility, is the aging process of our population, whose effects on the labor force were also taken into account due to their implications in its age structure.
