Abstract:

In this study, the empathy skills shown by the teachers were studied according to the opinions of 4th-class teachers candidates and teachers candidates at the Pamukkale University School of Education. The data was obtained by the application of the "Teacher Communication Skills Scale" developed by Canan Çetinkanat, the scale of the empati scale was used in the research. The universe of research is formed by teachers with 4th-class teachers candidates at the Pamukkale University School of Education. As it is not possible to reach the whole universe, the fourth class teachers and teachers are selected by the proportional mass sampling method. Examples of 397 4. A class teacher candidate and 100 teachers were accepted. The Cronbach’s Alpha reliability ratio is r=0.94. In the empati skill size shown by teachers at Pamukkale University Education Faculty, the scale views of 4th-class teachers candidates are "often" with 26.4%, the scale views of teachers are "all" with 51,0%.
