Abstract:

For the prose to gain a more efficient expression in classical Turkish literature, the use of artistic expressions and sec'i, which provides harmony in prose, has increased and prose language brought closer to poetry, and thus the prose tradition emerged. The texts written within the framework of the prose tradition and the works in which these texts are collected are also expressed with the term münşeât. The main subject of this study is a munşeât mecmua written in the 18th century. There is no information about the name and author of the mecmua. In addition, although there is no temmet record regarding the writing date of the work, the 1210 historical works at the end of the letter are thought that were written in the 18th century. In the first title of the work, which consists of 22 leaves, the information required for writing a letter is given in the summary form, and then the letters are started. In the work consisting of 26 letters; 5 of the letters are private letters and 21 of them are official letters. The writing of official letters in the types of temessük, tezkire, arz-ı hal, tahrirat, and arîza/kaime added variety to the text.In the study, first of all, in the light of the information obtained as a result of the literature review, the concepts of construction and münşeât in classical Turkish literature and münşeât mecmuas will be briefly mentioned, and then the münşeât mecmuas will be discussed. In order to reveal the importance of münşeât mecmuas, which is one of the educational-instructional texts with great importance in terms of our literary history, first of all, information about the content of the mecmua will be given, and then the transcripted text will be given.
