Uluslararası spor organizasyonları toplumları kaynaştıran, kültürler arası bağ kuran önemli bir etkinliktir. Özellikle bu organizasyonları düzenleyen ülkeler ekonomik, tanınabilirlik, prestij sosyal ve alt yapı imkanları gibi birçok fayda elde etmeye çalışır. Bunun yanı sıra, kendi halkının spor kültürünü geliştirmesinede önemli katkı sağlar. Birçok uluslararası spor kuruluşları ülkelere spor organizasyonlarının verilme sürecinde o toplumun spora bakış açısını ve spor kültürünüde göz önünde bulundurur. Bu yüzden bu çalışmanın amacı, olimpiyat oyunlarına ev sahipliği yapmaya aday ve uluslararası birçok spor organizasyonu düzenlemiş İstanbul şehrinde yaşayan bireylerin uluslararası spor organizasyonlarına yönelik tutumunun incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Cinsiyet, yaş, eğitim durumu, refah düzeyi ve spor haberlerini takip etme durumundan oluşmaktadır. İkinci bölümde ise, Aktaş ve Kan (2018)’ın geliştirdiği uluslararası spor organizasyonlarına yönelik tutum ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Ölçme aracı olumlu duygu boyutu, olumsuz duygu boyutu, davranışsal boyut olmak üzere 3 boyut ve 5’li likert tipinden oluşmaktadır. İstatistikler SPSS programıyla yapılmış ve yapılan tüm değerlendirmelerde istatistiksel anlamlılık düzeyi p<0.05 olarak kabul edilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucu olarak, uluslararası spor organizasyonlarına bakış açısına yönelik tutumda olumlu boyut ve davranışsal boyutta yaş, eğitim durumu ve spor haberlerini takip etme durumunda anlamlı farklılık olduğu görülürken, cinsiyet ve refah düzeyinde tüm alt boyutlarda anlamlı farklılık olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
International sports organizations are an important event that connects communities and establishes intercultural connections. Specifically the countries that organize these organizations are trying to obtain many benefits such as economic, recognizability, prestigious social and sub-structure facilities. In addition, it makes a significant contribution to the development of the sports culture of its own people. Many international sports organizations take into account the sport perspective of that society and the sport culture in the process of giving sports organizations to the countries. Therefore, the aim of this study is to study the attitude of individuals living in the city of Istanbul, which has been hosted by many international sports organizations, to international sports organizations. It consists of gender, age, state of education, level of well-being and state of tracking sports news. In the second part, the scale of attitude towards international sports organizations developed by Aktaş and Blood (2018) was used. The measurement tool consists of 3 dimensions, the size of positive emotions, the size of negative emotions, the size of behavior and the type of likert of 5. The statistics were made with the SPSS program and in all assessments the statistical significance level was accepted as p<0.05 . As a result of the study, there is a significant difference in the positive dimension and behavioral dimension of the attitude towards international sports organizations in the following age, educational status and sports news, while there is a significant difference in all subdimensions in gender and well-being.
