Objective: In this study, it is aimed to evaluate the ideas of family practitioners who serving in Burdur in 2010 related to data processing applications. Methods: The data of this descriptive study was obtained with the questionnaire prepared by researchers which are filled out by family physicians. Results: At the time of the study, 73 family physicians were working in Burdur. 77.8% of family physicians were male. Family physicians’ mean age is 41± 6.1 yr. 57.8% of the physicians have worked in primary health care services for 10 years and more while 59.2% stated that they have worked less than 5 years in secondary health care services. All of family physicians were using the software which is called AHBS (Family Medicine Information System). 45.8% of family physicians were partially satisfied with AHBS while 30.6% were satisfied. 72.2% of them have reported error by data entries which are caused mostly by user and system errors and internet problems. System integration with other systems has been reported 37.5% as moderate and 20.8% as poor, 19.4% as very poor. As problems of integration; MERNIS (Central Population Management System) cannot be reached (n=28) and the connection problems with exchange of data (n = 21) are established. For the education with computer or distance education, 42.6% are considered as good. 78.6% of family physicians think that correspondence must be done electronically. Conclusion: All of family physicians use AHBS. Family physicians that use information system are satisfied but there are problems with integration
