Abstract:

In the context of this study, the endemic Cascavirus (Quercus vulcanica, Boiss) is known as one of the rarest species of mountains on Earth. and Heldr. The current spread areas and habitat preferences of the Kotschy species have been revealed, and a new spread area has been revealed around the Ankara-Nallıhan-Sarıçalı Mountain. In addition to this new area, the IUCN category of the species has been re-evaluated and the spread area of the species is 166.597.545 km2, the living area is estimated at 68.000 km2 and the low-risk (LC: Least Concern) risk category has been updated. In the framework of land studies conducted in 2018-2019, the data related to the existing spread areas of the species are recorded by recording the length, length, elevation (m), geographical location, maintenance, curvation (%), the tip of the land, the type of vegetation, the height of vegetation (m) and the vegetation (%) . Additionally, the newly detected spread area has also identified plant communities that spread along with the shell, and 11 endemic species have been identified in a total of 112 species. As a result, the preservation of genetic resources of our country and the updating of species’ spread areas are of great importance for the preservation of our country’s biological diversity.
