Abstract:

The Turkish literature, which has experienced a great change in the process beginning with Tanzimat, one face looks to the west while the other face looks to the east, the public literature sources. Ziya Gökalp believes that the great Turkish mefkur will happen by turning the public literature to our sources. Gökalp, according to this belief, creates the characters performing the Turkish mefkuru in the poem called Red Apple. These are archaeological heroes that reflect the collective subconscious of mankind. The archetypes are universal symbols that are the first model. These symbols are found in the common consciousness of mankind and mostly show themselves in literary stories such as stories, stories. The most obvious archetype seen in the Red Apple is the ideal mother-woman archetype. The Red Apple also contains archetypes such as the wise man, the traveler, the search archetype that reflects the stages of turkey’s rejuvenation as a hero and the person that reflects the process of rebirth. In this study, by the method of archetypical criticism, the characters in the Red Apple were studied and the type structures that showed the Turkish culture and consciousness structure were identified.
