Abstract:

Developmental mine defects are hereditary or adherent defects that may arise as a result of a destruction or a stop of development during the development of the mine tissue. Defects can cause problems such as sensitivity in the teeth, aesthetic problems and a predisposition to dirt. Therefore, it is noted that defects can negatively affect the quality of life. Developmental mining defects should be early diagnosis and protective treatment-focused and treatment requires multidisciplinary approach. The purpose of this article is to evaluate the ethology of developmental mine defects, clinical findings and the recommended treatment approaches for affected teeth. Clinical significance of developmental emal defects includes poor esthetics, tooth sensitivity, malocclusion and predisposition to dental caries. Therefore, these defects can affect oral health-related quality of life. Developmental enamel defects require both immediate intervention and management, including coordination of multi-disciplinary care.
