Abstract:

The study aimed at demonstrating the Islamic Sharia's interest in the environment in its jurisprudential and economic dimensions, and its keenness on the nation's capabilities and resources. The study focused on the economic dimension of the Islamic directives and their impact on the protection of resources and the capabilities of the nation to achieve the preservation of the environment and benefit from them and access to the use of their capabilities without disregard and no large and no waste of money and self-harm or others or the environment. The study focused on the Qur'anic texts, the purified Sunnah and the re-levant jurisprudential views, which showed that the principles of Islam and its legislation urges attention to the environment and care for it to achieve economic and social development. The study concluded that Islamic legislation is keen on intent on con-sumption, urging development and land architecture and preserving the capabilities and resources of the nation in a way that will benefit the nation's economies, growth and sustainable development.
