Abstract:

The examination of the retina nerve fiberglass may develop primarily due to vascular causes such as a variety of neurological diseases, including glucoma, non-glocomal disorders of the optical nerve, retina diseases, toxic, nutritional or shock optical neuropathy. Glucoma, one of the most frequent causes of blindness in the world, is a progressive optical neuropathy characterized by examination in the retina nerve fiber layer due to the retina ganglion cell death, cavity in the optical nerve head and loss of vision area. Although the most well-known risk factor is high eye pressure, it is believed that systemic vascular disorders, which are among the risk factors of glucoma, play a role in the pathogenesis of normotensive glucoma, especially where low eye pressure is seen. In our study, we described a phenomenon with many systemic vascular diseases, which is examined in the retina nerve fibroid layer and most likely diagnosed as normotensive glucoma.
