Eating habits in childhood are of paramount importance, since they have great interference in citizen's health, which could have consequences throughout the life. Aiming to assess nutritional status of children aged between 7 and 9 years at public schools, it was made a questionnaire about daily eating habits and physical activity. It was also made anthropometric measures, for example, weight (Kg) and height (m), targeting to evaluatethe presence of malnutrition, eutrophy, overweight or obesity in these children. It was assessed the nutritional status of 81 children and the results were interpreted by the classification of weight for height, weight for age and height for age.
