Abstract:

Actuality of comparative analysis fin formation and communications technologies development in CIS countries was determine din the article. The papers of distinguished Ukrainian and foreign scientists as well as reports of the International Telecommunication Union from 2008 to 2014 were processed. The methodology for the study was selected. The structure of ICT development index was shown. The global ranking according to ICT development tindex was reviewed and analyzed. According to the latest available data of 2013, the rating of CIS countries was shown and the dynamics of the development of ICT in the analyzed countries for year and for the period from 2008 to 2013 was determined. A few indicators that characterize the development of telecommunication systems in selected countries were analyzed. The position of the each country of CIS region was determined relative to the average IDI of the developed countries, world in general, developing countries and CIS region. The leading and fast developing countries in ICT in CIS region were determined.
