Abstract:

The main objective of the study is to determine the leisure and recreational trends of professional college students, their levels of participation in current recreational events and their recreational desires. A survey was carried out to a total of 400 students registered in the 11 pre-graduate program in the 2017-2018 spring period at Bülent Ecevit University's Çaycuma Placement. Students are selected by random sampling method. The survey was evaluated through the SPSS 22.0 program, with frequency, percentage and Anova tests. According to the survey, most students find existing recreational fields insufficient. Students prefer physical activities as a recreational event and prefer to do outdoor recreational activities if they need the interior. It has been found that the basic needs of students are provided with limited possibilities and therefore their participation in some recreational activities that require excessive payments is limited. Students prefer to shop for AVMs as a recreational activity in the city of Çaycuma and as a leisure activity. After all, recommendations have been developed in the context that students in the Chaycuma Delay can spend their free time more quality.
