Introduction and Target: Quantitative diffusion to evaluate lungs injury with MR imaging. Method and Requirements: 120 patients with lungs injury were evaluated as retrospective. The values of the visible diffusion rate (ADC) of lung injury were calculated and correlated with the results of biopsy. The ADC value of benign lung injury (2.03±0.09x10-3mm2/s) was significantly higher than malignant lung injury (1.11±0.25x10-3mm2/s) (p<0,001). When the cut value was taken 1.37x10-3mm2/s, the area below the curve in the distinction of malignant and benign lungs damage was found 0.94, accuracy 87.5%, sensitivity 94.9%, and specificity 73.1%. Quantitative diffusion MR imaging can be used in the distinction of benign and malign lung tumors.
