The goal of this trial is to compare the serum lipid level in preeclamptic and normal pregnancies. Plasma levels of total cholesterol (total-c), triglyseride (TG), HDL-Cholesterol (HDL-C), LDL-cholesterol (LDL-C) and VLDL-cholesterol (VLDL-C) was measured in 15 preeclamptic and 15 normal pregnant women. The plasma levels of triglyseride and VLDL-C were significannly higher in preeclamptic womens than in normals. Levels of total-C, HDL-C, LDL-C did not differ significantly. The level of TG and VLDL-C increase in preeclamptic womens.
