Bu çalışmada, aday öğretmenlerin ders sürecinde öğrenme-öğretme ilkelerini uygulama yeterliklerini belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma, eğitim fakültesi son sınıf öğrencilerinin aday öğretmen olarak katıldıkları“Öğretmenlik Uygulaması” dersinde yapılmıştır. Veriler, Sosyal Bilgiler Programıson sınıf öğrencilerinin staj uygulamalarında arkadaşlarının gözlemleri ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin toplanmasında, araştırmacıtarafından geliştirilen gözlem formu kullanılmıştır. Verilerin çözüm ve yorumlanmasıiçin aritmetik ortalama, Pearson’s r, tek yönlü varyans analizi ve Scheffe testi değerlerinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırma sonunda aday öğretmenlerin; dersin giriş, geliştirme ve sonuçlandırma aşamalarındaki öğrenme-öğretme ilkelerinden yeterli düzeyde yararlanabildikleri ama belirli yetersizliklerinin de bulunduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca ilkelerden yararlanabilme yönüyle dersin aşamalarıarasında anlamlıve pozitif bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Aday öğretmenler 6. sınıflarda, 7. ve 8. sınıflardaki öğretim uygulamalarına göre öğrenme-öğretme ilkelerinden daha düşük düzeyde yararlanabilmişlerdir.
