Amaç: Okul psikolojik danışmanlarının kariyer rehberliğine ilişkin görüşlerini incelemeyi amaçlayan bu çalışma ile şu alt amaçlara ulaşılmaya çalışılmıştır: Kariyer rehberliği kavramına ilişkin okul psikolojik danışmanların görüşleri, kariyer rehberliği sisteminde paydaşların (Öğrenciler, veliler, öğretmenler, okul psikolojik danışmanları) ihtiyaçlarına ilişkin okul psikolojik danışmanlarının görüşleri, psikolojik danışmanların yararlandıkları kuram ve ölçekler bilgisi, öğrenci kariyer gelişim dosyasında bulunması gerekenler. Yöntem: Kariyer rehberliği sistemine ilişkin okul psikolojik danışmanlarının görüşlerini araştırmayı amaçlayan bu çalışma nitel araştırma desenlerinden olgubilim deseni kullanılmıştır. 2019-2020 eğitim-öğretim yılında Malatya ili Yeşilyurt ve Battalgazi merkez ilçelerinde bulunan ve maksimum çeşitlilik örnekleme yöntemiyle belirlenen okullarda görevli, 15 okul psikolojik danışmanı araştırmanın katılımcılarını oluşturmaktadır. Bulgular: Çalışma ile okul psikolojik danışmanlarının kariyer rehberliği kavramını algılayışları, kariyer rehberliği sisteminin parçaları olan öğrenci, öğretmen, aile ve psikolojik danışmanların ihtiyaçlarını, yararlandıkları kuram ve ölçekleri, öğrenci kariyer gelişim dosyasında olması gerekenler araştırılmış ve sonuçlar tablolaştırılmıştır. Sonuçlar ve Öneriler: Araştırmada elde edilen bulgular ışığında aşağıdaki öneriler yapılmıştır: • Bu araştırma okulöncesinde çalışan psikolojik danışmanlarla da yapılabilir. • Okul psikolojik danışmanları hizmet içi ve lisansüstü eğitimler yolu ile kariyer rehberliği konularında gelişimlerine katkıda bulunabilinir. • Öğretmenler lisans düzeyinde kariyer rehberliği dersleri ve hizmet içi eğitimler yolu ile sisteme dahil edilebilirler. • Ailelerin seminerler ve uygulanacak aile eğitim programları ile kariyer rehberliği sisteminde aktif rol almaları sağlanabilir. • Bir bilişim ağı yolu ile kariyer gelişim dosyası oluşturulabilir. Bu birikimli ilerlemeyi sağlayacaktır.
Purpose: With this study, which aims to examine the opinions of school counselors on career guidance, the following sub-objectives have been tried to be achieved: The opinions of school counselors on the concept of career guidance, opinions of school counselors on the needs of stakeholders (students, parents, teachers, school counselors) in the career guidance system, psychological knowledge of theories and scales used by counselors, what should be included in the student career development file. Design & Methodology: In this study, which aims to investigate the opinions of school psychological counselors regarding the career guidance system, the phenomenological design, one of the qualitative research designs, was used. In the 2019-2020 academic year, 15 school counselors working in schools located in the central districts of Malatya, Yeşilyurt and Battalgazi and determined by the maximum diversity sampling method, constitute the participants of the research. Findings: With the study, school counselors' perceptions of the concept of career guidance, the needs of students, teachers, families and psychological counselors who are parts of the career guidance system, the theories and scales they use, what should be in the student career development file were investigated and the results were tabulated. Implications & Suggestions: In the light of the findings obtained in the research, the following suggestions were made: • This research can also be done with psychological counselors working in preschool. • School counselors can contribute to their development in career guidance through in-service and postgraduate training. • Teachers can be included in the system through career guidance courses and in-service training at undergraduate level. • It can be ensured that families take an active role in the career guidance system through seminars and family training programs to be implemented. • A career development file can be created through an information network. This will ensure cumulative progress.
