Pleomorfik adenom epitelyal kökenli bir tümördür. Selim mikst tümör olarak da adlandırılan bu tümör, minör veya majör tükürük bezlerinden kaynağını almaktadır. Tükürük bezlerinin neoplazmları tüm tümörlerin %1’inden azını, aynı zamanda tüm baş ve boyun tümörlerinin %3-5’inden sorumludur. Pleomorfik adenom tükürük bezinin en yaygın tümörüdür. Çoğunluk parotis bezinden kaynaklanırken, sadece küçük bir yüzdesi diğer bölgelerde ortaya çıkar. Pleomorfîk adenom’un tedavisi cerrahi olarak tümörün çıkartılmasıdır. Biz 80 yaşındaki erkek bir pleomorfik adenom olgusunu takdim ettik ve bu bağlamda iyi huylu minör tükürük bezi tümörlerini literatür çerçevesinde gözden geçirdik.
Pleomorphic adenoma is an epithelial tumor. This tumor, also referred to as Selim Mist tumor, is derived from minor or major sperm glands. Neoplasms in the glands are responsible for less than 1% of all tumors, and also 3-5% of all head and neck tumors. Pleomorphic adenoma is a sperm-related tumor. While the majority is caused by the parotic gland, only a small percentage occurs in other areas. The treatment of pleomorphic adenoma is the removal of the tumor by surgery. We presented the phenomenon of a 80-year-old male pleomorphic adenoma, and in this context we reviewed the beneficial minor spine gland tumors in the literary framework.
