Purpose: The purpose of this study is to assess the relationship between the frequency, number, duration, and severity of herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1), sitomegalovirus (HCMV) and Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) in the recurring minor ovarian ulcers (MiAU). Tools and Methods: 62 MIAU individuals, comprised of 33 men and 29 women aged 18-55, were included in the working group. The frequency, number, duration in the mouth, severity of existing herpes injury, in addition to these injury, was questioned and coded for statistical assessment. The HSV-1 IgG, anti-CMV IgG and EBV IgG values in the derived serums were determined by ELISA technique. According to the manufacturer’s recommendations, the reference range for HSV-1 IgG and anti-CMV IgG; 0.1-0.2 U/ml, the reference range for EBV IgG; 0.91-1. It was accepted as 9 U/ml. Patient data was recorded so that it would be below, within and above these values. The findings: There has been a positive relationship between the frequency of output and the duration of oral infection and the highest reference of HSV-1 IgG and anti-CMV IgG values (p<0.05). The increase in the number and severity of Aft was determined as the HSV-1 IgG had higher values than the reference range (p<0.05). There is no statistically significant difference between the number and severity of Aft lesions and the serum presence of the HCMV virus (p>0.05). There was no statistical significance between the parameters related to the EBV IgG reference values (p>0.05). The current study found that the serum positivity of HSV-1 IgG and Anti-CMV IgG values could affect the clinical reflection of repeated ovarian ulcers.
