Abstract:

Nâzım Hikmet Ran, is one of the most powerful poets of Turkish Literature. He made a great revolution in Turkish poetry, which is in line with his ideology.  Poems are works of innovation in terms of discourse, subject and form. Freedom, peace, hope, struggle, love, death, longing, equality are the most common themes of Nâzım Hikmet's poems. He has become a symbol for the masses. Nâzım Hikmet created new and successful examples of poetry in the Republic Period. Nâzım Hikmet, known as a poet, also has prose, letters, translations and scenarios. He was imprisoned for many years and had to live longing for his country in the last period of his life. He has always used Turkish skillfully. He not only demonstrated his mastery of poetry in the voice, style and meaning of the poem; but also made the emotions in poetry visible with its visual arrangement.
