Amaç: Berberis thunbergii ‘Atropurpurea’ türüne ait çeliklerin farklı köklendirme ortamlarında köklenme durumlarının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Yöntem ve Bulgular: Çalışmada, köklendirme ortamı olarak perlit, kokopit, pomza, kayayünü, vermikulit ve torf kullanılmıştır. Bu ortamların çeliklerin köklenmesi üzerine olan etkisi incelenmiştir. Ocak ayında alınan çelikler farklı ortamların kullanıldığı kasalara dikilerek sisleme altında köklendirilmiştir. Çeliklerde köklenme oranı, köklenme durumu, kök sayısı, kök uzunluğu, kallus oranı, yaprak sayısı, sürgün uzunluğu, sürgün sayısı ve fidana dönüşüm oranı gibi özellikler incelenmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre, köklenme oranı ve kök özellikleri üzerine kullanılan ortamların etkili olduğu görülmüştür. Berberis thunbergii çeliklerinde en yüksek köklenme oranı (%65) pomza ortamında elde edilirken, torf ortamında köklenme meydana gelmemiştir. Genel Yorum: Çelikle çoğaltma da türün köklenmesi üzerine ortamın önemli etkisi olduğu belirlenmiştir. Çalışmanın Önemi ve Etkisi: Berberis thunbergii ‘Atropurpurea’ türünde farklı ortamların çelik köklenmesi üzerine etkisi konusunda dünyada bazı çalışmalar bulunmakla birlikte ülkemizde oldukça sınırlı sayıda çalışma bulunmaktadır. Bu nedenle süs bitkisi sektöründe ihtiyaç duyulması durumunda, çelikle çoğaltma protokolüne katkıda bulunulmuştur.
Purpose: Berberis thunbergii's 'Atropurpurea' species is intended to identify roots of steel in different rooting environments. Method and findings: In the study, perlit, kokopit, pomza, straw, vermiculite and torf were used as a rootsing environment. The impact of these environments on the roots of steel has been studied. In January, the steel collected in different environments was planted and rooted under the silk. Features such as the root rate, the root state, the number of roots, the root length, the kallus ratio, the number of leaves, the extraction length, the number of extraction and the ratio of reversion of the fidana have been studied in steels. According to the results obtained, the environment used on the root rate and root characteristics has been shown to be effective. The highest root rate (65%) in Berberis thunbergii steels is achieved in the pomza environment, while in the torf environment no root has occurred. General comment: Reproduction with steel is also determined as an important impact of the environment on the root of the species. The importance and impact of the study: While there are some studies in the world on the impact of different environments on steel roots in the Berberis thunbergii 'Atropurpurea' type, there is a very limited number of studies in our country. Therefore, in case of need in the decorative plant industry, the steel reproduction protocol has been contributed.
Aims: Berberis thunbergii 'Atropurpurea' cuttings was aimed to determine the rooting conditions of in different rooting mediums in the study. Methods and Results: In this study, perlite, cocopite, pumice, rockwool, vermiculite and peat were used as rooting medium. The effect of these mediums on the rooting of cuttings was investigated. Cuttings received in January were rooted under misting by being stitched in the casing where different media were used. Several properties such as rooting percentage, rooting status, number of root, root length, callus rate, number of leaf, shoot length, number of shoots and nursery conversion rate were investigated. Conclusions: According to the obtained results, it was seen that the mediums used on rooting rate and root properties were effective. Berberis thunbergii cuttings the highest rooting rate (65%) was obtained in the pomace medium, but rooting did not occur in the peat medium. Significance and Impact of the Study: Although there are studies about effects of different media on rooting cutting of in Berberis thunbergii species in the world, there is limitted number of studies in our country. For this reason, if needed in the ornamental plant sector, it is possible to provide a protocol of propagation with cutting.
