Bu çalışmanın amacı, Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi (GSF) öğrencilerinin sanat eğitimine yönelik tutumları ile sanat okuryazarlığı ilişkisinin incelenmesidir. Bu amaçla, çalışmanın evreni Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Devlet üniversitelerine bağlı GSF’ler, örneklemi ise sekiz GSF’nin 205 öğrencisinden oluşturulmuştur. Araştırmanın verileri; Kurtuldu (2010) tarafından üniversite öğrencilerinin sanat eğitimine yönelik tutumlarını belirlemek amacıyla geliştirilen ölçek ile Yücetoker (2014) tarafından üniversite öğrencilerinin sanat okuryazarlık düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla geliştirilen ölçekten, online anket aracı kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler SPSS-25 istatistik paket programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın alt problemleri doğrultusunda korelasyon ve fark analizleri yapılmış, elde edilen toplam puanların dağılımları incelenerek çarpıklık ve basıklık değerlerine ulaşılmıştır. Fark analizi yöntemi olarak T-Testi ve Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi (ANOVA) yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Betimsel analizlerden edilen sonuçlarına göre; GSF öğrencilerinin sanat eğitimine yönelik tutumları ile sanat okuryazarlık düzeylerinin orta düzeyde olduğu, korelasyon analiz sonuçlarına göre; GSF öğrencilerinin sanat eğitimine yönelik tutumları ile sanat okuryazarlığı düzeyleri arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki olmadığı sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. Cinsiyete göre GSF’de öğrenim gören kadın öğrencilerin erkeklere göre sanat eğitimine yönelik tutumlarının daha yüksek olduğu, sanata yönelik kitaplar okuyan GSF öğrencilerinin sanat okuryazarlık düzeylerinin sanata yönelik kitap okumayan öğrencilere göre daha yüksek olduğu sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. Yaş, okudukları bölüm, mezun oldukları lise türü, anne ve babanın eğitim düzeyi, aile geliri gibi diğer değişkenler arasında sanat eğitimine yönelik tutum ile sanat okuryazarlığı ilişkisinde farklılık bulunmamıştır.
The aim of this study is to study the attitudes of the students of the Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF) towards art education and the relationship between art literature. For this purpose, the university of the study was formed by the GSFs associated with the State universities of the Republic of Turkey, and the sample was formed by 205 students of eight GSFs. The research data was obtained using the online survey tool, the scale developed by Yücetoker (2014) to determine the levels of art literature of university students with the aim of determining the attitudes of university students towards art education developed by Kurtuldu (2010) and the scale developed by Yücetoker (2014). The data obtained was analyzed using the SPSS-25 statistical package program. According to the sub-problems of the study, correlations and differences were analyzed, the distribution of the total points obtained was studied and the values of confusion and confusion were achieved. The method of differentiation analysis is used as the T-Test and the one-way variance analysis (ANOVA) method. According to the results of the visual analysis; GSF students’ attitudes towards art education and the level of art literature are at the middle level, according to the correlation analysis; GSF students’ attitudes towards art education and the level of art literature have found that there is no statistically meaningful relationship between GSF students’ attitudes towards art education and the level of art literature. According to gender, GSF students have a higher attitude towards art education than men, and GSF students who read art books have a higher level of art literature than students who do not read art books. There was no difference in the relationship between age, the part they read, the type of high school they graduated, the level of education of the mother and father, the other variables such as the attitude towards art education and the art literature.
The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between art literacy and the attitudes of the students of the Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF) towards art education. For this purpose, the universe of the study was formed from GSF affiliated to the state universities of the Republic of Turkey, and the sample was formed from eight GSF’ 205 students. The data of the research were obtained by using the online survey tool from the scale developed by Kurtuldu (2010) to determine the attitudes of university students towards art education and the scale developed by Yucetoker (2014) to determine the art literacy levels of university students. The obtained data were analyzed using the SPSS-25 statistical package program. Correlation and difference analyses were performed in line with the subproblems of the research, and skewness and kurtosis values were reached by examining the distributions of the total scores obtained. The T-Test and One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) method were used as the difference analysis method. According to the results obtained from the descriptive analyses; It was found that GSF students' attitudes towards art education and their art literacy levels were at an intermediate level. according to the results of the correlation analysis; It has been concluded that there is no significant relationship between the attitudes of GSF students towards art education and their art literacy levels. According to gender, it was found that female students studying at GSF have higher attitudes towards art education than men, and the art literacy levels of GSF students who read books about art are higher than those of students who do not read books about art. There were no differences in the relationship between attitude towards art education and art literacy among other variables such as age, the department they studied, the type of high school they graduated from, the educational Decency of their parents, family income.
