The aim of this study is to evaluate the quality of sleep in the patient; to determine the functional state, emotional state and the effect of motor healing on the quality of sleep. Tools and Methods: 62 patients and 62 healthy volunteers with cerebrovascular infection were taken to study. The study group’s sociodemographic data and clinical findings of patients were recorded. The Barthel Index (BI) and the Functional Ambulation Classification were used to assess the functional condition. The quality of sleep was assessed by the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PUKI), while the emotional condition was determined by the Hospital Anxiety Depression Scale (HADÖ). Functional condition, motor disorder and emotional condition were taken as independent variables, and multiple regression analysis was used to predict the quality of sleep. Results: In patients, all PUKI's lower scores and total scores were significantly higher compared to the control group (p<0.001). The total score of PUKI was correlated to anxiety and depression score (p<0.01). There was also a significant negative correlation between the total score of BII and PUKI. Multiple regression analysis showed that depression is the most important factor in predicting the quality of sleep (p<0.01). The result: Our study has shown that induce patients have a disruption in the quality of sleep according to the control group. It was also related to the patient’s emotional conditions and physical disabilities with the quality of sleep. According to our study, depression is the most important factor determining the quality of sleep, especially with the early diagnosis and treatment of depression, we think that the quality of sleep will be improved.
