The writing of important works such as Kutadgu Bilig, Dȋvȃnü Lugȃti’t-Türk and Atabetü’l Hakayik, which were the first Turkic works reached from the Middle Turkic period is an indication that the power of the Turkic people in the period of Kharahanli was transformed into a strong literary language. In the following period, Khwarezm Turkic, which contains the language characteristics of Kypchak, Oghuz and other Turkic languages, has been formed by protecting the language characteristics of Kharahanli (Hakaniye) Turkic. The mixed ethnic structure of the Khwarezm region has also manifested itself in the structure of Khwarezm Turkic - in its language characteristics and most common vocabulary. 12-13th century writtenAdab, Rabguz’s Kyssas al-Anbiya, Islam’s Muʿȋnü’l-Mürȋd, Khwarezmi’s Muhabbat-nȃma, Mahmut bin Ali’s Nehcu’l- Ferȃdȋs, Malik Bakshi’s Mi’rach-nȃma, etc., are very important works for Turkic language researches in terms of informing about the written language in the Khwarezm region. This paper covers Turkic İslamic terms used in the work Muqaddimat al-Adab written by Zamakhshari in the 12th century in the period of speaking Khwarezm Turkic, referring to Turkic language. Some of these words are from Old Turkic (for example: Tan͡grı, İḏi, yalavaç, yazuḳ, yek etc.), some are new derived words (tutunmak, okuġ, orlaġucı, yıġaḳlu etc.). The religious words formed within the structure of Turkic language further completely replaced by the words of Persian and Arabic origin are very important for studying lexical resource and history of Turkic languages.
